Terms of service
These terms form the agreement between you and QuickQ covering use of the service. Registering, downloading or using it means you have read and accepted them.
1. The service
QuickQ provides network acceleration and an encrypted tunnel, aimed at reducing latency and jitter on cross-border paths and protecting traffic in transit. The service is delivered through platform clients, a command-line tool and router firmware.
We keep improving the service, but we do not promise that a particular node, protocol or feature stays unchanged indefinitely. Functional changes are announced in advance on the product updates page.
2. Accounts and devices
- Registration requires a valid email address, and you are responsible for everything done under your account.
- An account is for you or for authorised members of your organisation and may not be resold, rented or publicly shared.
- Free allows one simultaneous device, Premium allows eight, and Team is based on purchased seats.
- Exceeding the concurrency limit disconnects the oldest session rather than restricting the account.
- If you believe your account has been compromised, freeze it immediately via support and reset your password.
3. Subscriptions and billing
- Premium is offered monthly and annually; prices follow the pricing page.
- Subscriptions renew automatically by default, and we email you three days before each charge.
- You can disable auto-renewal at any time in the account centre. Service continues to the end of the paid period and no cancellation fee applies.
- If prices change we give 30 days' notice by email and on the website. A change never affects a period you have already paid for.
4. Refund conditions
Within 14 days of your first Premium purchase, you may request a full refund if latency or stability does not meet expectations, with no reason required. Approved refunds return to the original payment method within 5 to 10 business days.
A full refund does not apply where:
- the account was terminated for breaching section 5;
- the same account has already received a full refund within the previous 12 months;
- more than 14 days have passed since the purchase.
5. Acceptable use
You must comply with the laws that apply to you and with these terms. The following are prohibited:
- sending spam, conducting network attacks, port scanning or any other abuse;
- distributing malware, unlawful content or material that infringes the rights of others;
- infringing intellectual property, privacy or other legitimate rights;
- stress-testing nodes, bulk scraping, or consuming excessive bandwidth through automation;
- reselling the service, reverse engineering it, or attempting to circumvent technical or billing limits.
Where such behaviour is detected we may suspend or terminate the account, and in serious cases reserve the right to pursue legal remedies.
6. Availability
- We target at least 99.9% availability over any trailing 12 months, with actual performance published on the service status page.
- Planned maintenance is announced at least 48 hours in advance; emergency security maintenance is the exception.
- Premium and Team customers receive priority ticket handling, and Team customers are assigned a dedicated technical advisor.
7. Data and privacy
How we handle information is described in the privacy policy. In summary, the account system retains only your email, subscription state and device count, and we do not store destination domains, transferred content or DNS queries.
8. Intellectual property
The QuickQ client and server software, the Nova protocol implementation, interface designs and brand marks belong to QuickQ and its licensors. You receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the client on authorised devices, and may not copy, modify, decompile or redistribute it.
9. Liability
The service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect losses, lost profits or lost data arising from use of, or inability to use, the service. Our aggregate liability will not exceed the subscription fees you actually paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You are responsible for judging and bearing any compliance risk involved in the content you access. QuickQ is a network acceleration and transit protection tool and does not authorise any unlawful use.
10. Changes and dispute resolution
If these terms change materially we update the "last updated" date at the top and notify registered users by email. Continuing to use the service once changes take effect means you accept them.
Disputes arising from these terms should first be addressed through good-faith negotiation; failing that, they are handled under the laws and courts of the jurisdiction where the operating entity is established.
